Sarah Evans, an English ex-pat journalist, is a multi-award winning author whose Eve Rock crime novels, Operation Paradise and Bad Habits, have been optioned for a TV series.

Her much loved memoir and recipe book, Seasons and Seasonings in a Teapot, details her family’s early years in Bridgetown, from shack living without mod cons with a baby, through to home schooling and attempted self sufficiency. She now has a proper house, granny duties and continues her hit-and-miss self sufficiency endeavours.

Along with her crime romps, Sarah writes romance novels, novellas, short stories, poetry and the occasional song.

She writes for the UK women’s magazine PROFILE.jpgmarket and her stories have been broadcast on ABC Radio and published in many crime and romance anthologies.

Sarah gives author talks and teaches memoir, poetry and creative writing. She co-founded the Bridgetown’s Words in the Valley Readers and Writers festival, which she organised for ten years before handing over the task to others.

Her published novels, along with Operation Paradise and Bad Habitsinclude Fugitive Love, a romantic suspense, and Bachelor Bid and Prudence and the Mighty Flynn, romances. Novellas include romances A Christmas Proposal,The Dating Game, Loving Aunt Lou, Yesterday Once More and Collision Course with Love, and a fantasy spoof Plumbing the Depths which is included in the The Big Book of Adventure Stories…And Then Vol2 (CDP). 

She has three e-published short story collections: Call of the Wild (fantasy), New Blood (horror) and Killing Kindness (crime).

Sarah is is currently working on Booby Traps, the third book in the Eve Rock crime series.

She also has a handful of novels and stories waiting for their moment in the sun, too many boxes and books of scribbled notes and a head full of more ideas…
